Victoria adopted the new Child Safety Standards on 1st July 2021, and these came into effect on 1st July 2022. As from 1st January 2023, YMCLC needs to be compliant with the new Standards, and this will become a condition of our RTO registration from that date.
As part of the Child Safety Standards, it is important that all staff and volunteers at YMCLC have an understanding of the Standards and our Policy and Procedure around Child Safety and Wellbeing.
