Welcome to all our valued students both returning from the previous year and those who are new to our service. As we happily say goodbye to what has been a year to remember, we are now looking forward to an exciting 2021 here at Yarrawonga Education and Training.

Firstly, we welcomed our newly appointed Executive Officer, Julie-Anne Clarke to the organization, after our former Executive Officer Pauline Wilson has retired at the end of 2020 after spending an incredible 15 years with YNH/YET. While we will dearly miss Pauline in our offices, we are very humbled to have Julie-Anne stepping into this role and bringing with her a wealth of experience and knowledge. Julie has spent 25 years working in and managing non-for-profit community based organisations and is looking forward to supporting our local community by providing a broad range of quality programs, services and activities.

We also have our Training Manager, Sharron Johnson who commences on the 1st of February. Sharron comes to us from Goodstart Early Learning Centre, where she has worked as an Area Manager and other roles for the last 18 years for the centres in and around regional Victoria. Sharron will be working in the office from Monday to Friday 9.00am-5.00pm and is available to support students with their studies and training needs.

If the year 2020 has taught us anything, it would be the importance of being able to connect online and to be able to utilize technology to ensure that we are able to not only continue our learning but use it to it’s maximum potential. This is where our Moodle system has worked so efficiently and effectively. To ensure that you are able to navigate, explore and get the most out of this online experience, myself Shanae Pettit will be there to support and guide you with any issues or needs that may arise, as the Moodle Officer.

You can contact support for the Moodle by emailing trainingsupport@ynh.org.au. The working hours will be Wednesday & Friday from 9.00am -2.30pm.

We look forward to seeing all of your faces back in our classrooms in Term 1, we wish you all the best for your time here with us!!
